LEGO Tattoos

A awesome ad for ball-pen “Pilot Extra-fine“, with some crazy Bad ass Tattoo on LEGO figurines ! I love it ! Created by Grey agency (Barcelona).

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone!

Absolute Harry Potter Madness

Only to add to my nerdy-ness.....Today I was going to buy these sick boots from Steve Madden,

They're called Troopa boots. They're all leather which is fantastic, and I really want them.....but I'd actually rather spend my money on the NEW HARRY POTTER LEGOS! Haha, I'm such a nerd. But for the last two movies they haven't had any LEGOs come out and it was sad. :( Now they do though and I'm definitely getting all the sets, except for the Hogwarts Express probably, because I have the older version of it. So yeah, no matter how old you are, you're never too old for LEGOs! haha
This is the new and improved Hogwarts Castle...yay

Making Shoes!!!!

So I'm in a shoe design class...and I'm currently making a shoe! Its so cool, I absolutely love the class! This is my first shoe so its been interesting to do, right now I'm putting the glitter on it!
So this is when I was prelasting my upper (which is basically preforming the leather before you glue it down). This is definitely my favorite part so far. I think its because now it actually looks like a real shoe...not a crazy hot mess like before.
This is the bottom, you have to tack it down till the leather dries.
So right now I'm adding my glitter. I'm doing the black first so I don't get black glitter all over the white glitter. I'm glad I chose glitter because its going to hide all the places I messed up the stitching lolz...

Halloween Nails: Frankenstein

This is my take on Goldiestarling's Frankenstein nail design...I spooked it up a bit. Haha. Check out her tutorial below, and head over to her youtube channel for more goodies!

Halloween Nails: Misc...

These are just some designs I tried out...I like the ghost and the spider web ones but this gets an overall 'meh'...

Beatles Themed Mini Cupcakes

These are some mini cupcakes I was hired to create. They have little apples on them (if you don't already know, its from the Beatles White Album, the LP had an apple on it) as well as the 'B'. I think they came out ok...I just hope everyone else likes them....

Lincoln Park Zoo!

I went today with my mom's kindergarten class to Lincoln Park Zoo! It was super fun and the kids are great. It was the first time I met this year's class....I really miss last years kids though :(

We got to see lots of animals and it was really beautiful out. I can't wait to go visit again!

Halloween Nails: Candy Corn

Oh the epitome of Halloween...

So this is probably an intermediate level design.

What I did was paint my nails black (Orly~ Liquid Vinyl), then using a white striper (StripeRite~white) I painted the candy corn shape. Then with a nail polish brush I painted orange and yellow stripes (random cheap drugstore polish).

My Betsy Johnson Spring 2011 Illustration

So I'm working on this illustration and I'm not sure which is better....I'm more partial to having a white background on everything. It's just my style, but let me know which you like better...

Halloween Nails

So to start off favorite month of the year...I'm going to be posting weekly (or bi-weekly depending on how much free time I have) Halloween inspired nails!

To start off we have a simple yet effective nod at Halloween. This is a look you can use all month if you want, since its so subtle.

I used OPI Nail Envy as a base, then two coats of OPI Black Onyx and two coats of China Glaze Fortune Teller.

So this summer (aka August) I painted my room. I just found these pictures on a random memory card so I thought Id show y'all. Its really a minty kind of reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream...from baskin robins. Haha. Its actually 'Spring Green' by Behr.

Rose Cupcakes

This is a special cupcake I created....basically I was just playing around with fondant flowers and this is what happened. I think it came out pretty well for a first attempt!

Gotta Love PAC-MAN!

I found these adorable little candies at Blick the other day. I was actually looking for a tin for my shoe tacks and thought that this was a great little case for them. Then I saw the adorable candies inside!

They come in 2 different colors, the red and then the blue.
